Privacy
No sign-in, no cookies, no chat. The block doesn't know who you are.
What your phone keeps
Only on your phone (the browser's storage), and sent nowhere except as described below:
- the language you picked;
- your windowsill object and light status;
- tonight's room key, so a dropped connection brings you back to the same room; it expires when the night changes;
- the city and area you picked;
- your sound timer, and the time you turned your light out tonight.
Your city and area
You pick a city and, if you like, an area in it (for example Quận 3). Both are optional choices you make yourself. They are kept on your phone and, for tonight only, in your room's record, which is cleared when the night ends.
"Use my location" asks your phone for its position once and finds the nearest city on the phone itself. The position is never sent anywhere and never stored.
If your city has no tower yet, your phone may send its name once (for example "Biên Hòa"), never your position and nothing about your phone, to count how many people want it. We keep only the total per city.
A number of homes awake in an area is shown only when there are 5 or more. In a shared block, the names of the areas of the people in it can appear in the block's name.
What your neighbors see
People in your building see your window: on or off, its light status and the object on the sill. No name, no photo, no messages.
What we count
Only totals for each night, such as how many homes visited and how many turned their lights out. No number is tied to a person or a device.
IP addresses
The site runs on Cloudflare's infrastructure (Singapore and other regions), which briefly processes IP addresses to deliver data to you. The site's own code never reads or stores IP addresses.
Visitors in Europe
We keep no personal data about you, so there is nothing to access, correct or delete. If you have a question, write to us and we will answer.
